Selling a repair nobody wants to think about
The problem
Roof damage is invisible until it is expensive. A homeowner has no reason to call anyone, because nothing looks wrong from the ground. Every roofing ad shouts about free inspections to an audience that does not yet believe it has a problem.
The angle
Start at the moment the problem becomes visible — a brown ring spreading across a ceiling, one drop forming. No logo, no offer, no voice for the first four seconds. Just the thing the viewer is afraid of. The line lands underneath it: it doesn't start with a collapse.
How it was made
Scripted first, then generated scene by scene: the interior ceiling, the moss on the shingles, the aerial of a crew working at golden hour. Voiceover recorded separately so the pacing could be cut against the visuals rather than the other way round. Captions burned in for sound-off viewing, end card rendered from code so the phone number and offer stay pixel-sharp.
What it demonstrates
That the pipeline can carry an emotional, problem-led narrative — not just product shots. The same structure works for any business selling a fix for something the customer has been ignoring: plumbing, HVAC, pest control, dental, insurance.
